Tavistock Hockey Club Men's 3rd XI

Tavistock Mens 3rd team is an intermediate squad, playing in the same league as our second team, which involves away games in Devon and Cornwall stretching between Totnes and Penzance. Whilst promotion is not a priority, improving certainly is. All players are encouraged to attend the end of the season tour, (Cork last season) the club presentation night and a range of other club social events throughout the year.

Martyn says "As third team captain this season, my aim is to ensure all players enjoy their hockey and improve in their playing ability. I aim to give everyone an opportunity to play regardless of age or ability, and to use the experience of the older players to improve the skills of the young players and to develop these young players to move up through the squads as their ability improves"
